STOP FINANCIAL FRAUD: PROTECT YOUR AND YOUR FINANCES
Financial fraud could happen to anybody, of any age, anywhere on the globe. From the Power of Attorney role to the infamous '419' Nigerian Scam, we could all be victims without being aware of it. It's time to learn as much as we can about fraud. Recently, Amos Studios partnered with Alberta Council on Aging in creating an educational DVD on the prevention of financial abuse. There are several topics covered that affect especially the elderly: Power of Attorney Fraud, Telemarketing scam, Internet fraud, Home Improvement scam, and Identity Theft. The production includes an informative presentation from Brian Trainor, a retired veteran of the Financial Fraud Unit, as well as emotional testimonials from seniors who have been victimized over the years (check out the samples on the right hand side). You can click on one of the links on the right to see how the specific frauds work. Feel free to share you ideas or suggestions writing us at: info@amosstudios.com. Also, the DVD is available for viewing. Please contact The Alberta Council on Aging for more information or to obtain a copy. Tel: (780) 423-7781. ... | Click HERE to see how it works.
